Milen Care is a charitable organisation based in Batley, providing high‑quality day care services for older people and adults with disabilities in North Kirklees. We have a permanent vacancy for a Day Care Assistant to provide care and support to our male day care users.

Adapted Mini-Bus Driver
16 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 9am – 11am & 2.30pm to 4.30pm (Flexibility to work additional hours as required)
Milen Care is a charitable organisation based in Batley, providing high‑quality day care services for older people and adults with disabilities in North Kirklees.
We are looking for an Adapted Mini‑Bus Driver to help our service users access the Day Centre and enjoy outings. The mini‑bus is equipped with a tail‑lift, ramp and wheelchair clamping system. The role includes vehicle safety checks, cleanliness, maintenance, and assisting passengers.
We are seeking a friendly, patient, caring, and flexible individual who has good understanding of the elderly and adults with physical and mental disabilities. A full UK driving license which includes D1, three years driving skills, experience of driving large vehicles and efficient route planning is essential.
